Sam, your argument imagining equating marrying a human being, gay or straight, with a human beingRead More marrying a pet is ridiculous on the face of it. There is no way to have a rational conversation with someone who says things like that.
Mike June 21, 2013 at 09:38 am
Renee, your observation regarding Sam's line of reasoning does not take into consideration thatRead More many years ago the overwhelming majority of the population of the USA and perhaps even the world believed that same sex marriage was even more ridiculous than what you believe Sam's statement is regarding people marring animals. If no consideration is given to animals not having the free will to consent to a human/animal relationship and that sex has little to do with marriage Sam's argument has some validity and presents a question that you really should respond to as to why you believe his observation is “ridiculous”. The question that Sam asked you is what is the difference? If you chose to defend same sex marriage in an intelligent manner you may have to educate Sam and many others as to why there can be no moral correlation between the two lifestyles. But, by simply dismissing the argument you actually tend to provide Sam’s observation with a certain level of creditability.

Renee, I am saddened that you have such a closed mind. First you would discriminate against someoneRead More who is different. You then would outright dismiss me because you deem my comment rdiculous. Shame on you for being so narrow minded!!!

Dancing is such a great way to get exercise and have fun at the same time. I never would haveRead More thought to observe a class first, but it makes perfect sense. And, so many people are intimidated by the idea of dancing that they miss this opportunity for fun.
