Pet of the Week: Onyx

This rabbit is looking for a new home.

Meet Onyx, a small, female rabbit with shiny-black fur to match her name. She enjoys pets and loves to make new friends, but sometimes she’s feeling a little more independent and prefers to be handled less. When that’s the case, you’ll find her quite active and playful! She loves to explore and check out all the nooks and crannies of a play space, plus look high and low for new toys and friends to play with. If you think you would hit it off as friends, please come by to meet her. She’s eager to share play time with you. Her ID number is A492775.

To visit Onyxgo to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. The shelter is open for adoptions Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm; and weekends from 11 am to 6 pm and is located at 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo next to Coyote Point Park. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.PHS-SPCA.org
