Pet of the Week: Mello
Check out one of the pets available for adoption from the Peninsula Humane Society.
Do you need a little bit of calm in your hectic life? Well, meet Mello, an eight-year-old neutered male dog. Mello is a gentle, friendly and calm little guy. He was definitely well fed wherever he was before he ended up in the shelter because he is a bit overweight. Mello has a slight heart murmur, but the vets say as long as he is stress-free and gets regular check-ups he’ll be a happy, healthy guy.
To visit Mello, go to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. The shelter is open for adoptions Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm; and weekends from 11 am to 6 pm and is located at 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo next to Coyote Point Park. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.PHS-SPCA.org
