Munchies? Girl Scout Boosts Cookie Sales by Setting Up in Front of San Francisco Marijuana Club

A girl scout was able to greatly boost cookie sales by setting up shop in front of a San Francisco pot club.

Mashable.com reported that Danielle Lei, 13, sold 117 boxes outside The Green Cross in a two hour period, 37 more boxes than she sold in front of a Safeway the next day. "Any patients at The Green Cross with the munchies didn't stand a chance," Mashable reported.

"It's no secret that cannabis is an appetite stimulant – so it's not shocking that a lot of our patients came and purchased cannabis and then saw the cookies and purchased them," NBC quoted Holli Bert, a spokesperson for The Green Cross.
