Giants Douse Cards - Can They Tame Tigers?

World Series kicks off Wednesday at AT&T Park. We have all the info on schedules and tickets, and we want to hear how you think the series will go.

The San Francisco Giants stormed into 2012 World Series Monday night, scorching the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 behind the undaunted pitching of Matt Cain and the mind-boggling hitting performance by Marco Scutaro, enough to earn him MVP of the National League Championship Series.

But before the champagne even has a chance to dry in the Giants' locker room, the 2012 World Series kicks off quickly as the Giants host the Detroit Tigers Wednesday at 5:07 p.m. at AT&T Park.

For those of you hoping to score some tickets, good luck. As the Giants note on their ticket website, "the ticket prices are based on current market value and will fluctuate based on factors affecting supply and demand." And given the joyful screams, car horns and fireworks in San Francisco Monday night, demand will be incredibly high.
