Aikido for Women
Aikido is a Japanese martial art which uses techniques that emphasize redirecting the energy and force of an assailant's attack in order to subdue him or her. The techniques do not rely on physical strength for effectiveness. Aikido is not used for aggressive purposes. Aikido increases stamina, improves coordination and stresses non-aggression and harmony with your partner. Please come to class wearing comfortable exercise clothes such as sweat pants and sweat shirt.
