Sunshine Gardens Elementary School Conflict Resolution Event Tonight

Tonight is Sunshine Garden Elementary's Back to School Night, as well as a non-violence performance night sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.

Tonight at Sunshine Gardens Elementary School in South San Francisco, students and families will see skits on conflict resolution, featuring professional actors. The event is the finale of a non-violence and conflict resolution program sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, called Peace Signs.

This evening is also Back to School Night at Sunshine Gardens, and free dinner will be provided for parents, friends, and family, while supplies last. Students who participated in the Peace Signs program will get a free t-shirt.

Students recently spent two days in the program to learn effective and healthy ways to handle challenges such as bullying, peer pressure, domestic violence, and the death of a family member.
