Congresswoman to Speak With Parents, Staff at Parkway

Congresswoman Jackie Speier will speak with parents, staff, school board members and the superintendent about how to improve Parkway Heights Middle School on Tuesday evening in the school's cafeteria.

As a step in fulfilling in October to become "guardian angel," Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-Hillsborough) with parents, staff, school board members and Superintendent Alejandro Hogan in the school's cafeteria at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Speier, who is a Parkway alumnus, said she wants to work with the school community to upgrade school facilities, improve after-school activities and alleviate bullying and behavior that may lead to gang activity.

Speier said one option may be to turn to South San Francisco-based pharmaceutical companies for funding.
