School Board to Select New Officers

The school board will rotate its leadership at its annual reorganization meeting Thursday.

The school board will select new officers at its televised meeting Thursday night.

The new officers, selected from current board trustees, will replace Maurice Goodman as president, Judy Bush as vice president and Philip Weise as clerk. The board bylaws state that a trustee shall not hold an office for longer than a year unless a majority of the board votes to waive that requirement.

Given that there are only five trustees to fill three offices, this is likely to be more of a reconfiguration than a new slate of leadership.
