Goodbye and Thanks, ASB Presidents

The school board honored the outgoing El Camino and South San Francisco ASB presidents Thursday night.

In a sign that the school year is winding down and the senior class is getting close to leaving the South San Francisco Unified School District, the El Camino and South San Francisco Associated Student Body presidents handed over their duties at Thursday night's school board meeting.

Every year, each president takes a semester serving as the student body representative on the school board, and at every meeting, each president gives an update on student activities at their high school.

But on Thursday, South San Francisco High School ASB President Miyako Takashima and El Camino High School President Sharmaine Bautista handed off the announcement to their successors from the junior class.
