The Natural History of the Daly City Dunes

The Daly City Dunes is a unique patch of open space between San Bruno Mountain County Park and Hillside Park in Daly City. The dunes are threatened by development.  It is home to a rare community of dune plants including the San Francisco Lessingia, an endangered species. Joe Cannon, restoration biologist with San Bruno Mountain Watch, will give a presentation on the history, ecology, and importance of saving the Daly City Dunes.
