El Camino High Musicians Live at Celia's

Thursday evening, student musicians will play in Daly City to raise money for the El Camino music program.

El Camino High School's music program will have the first of its two annual music takeover fundraisers tonight at Celia's Mexican Restaurant in Daly City. 

About 25 students will perform in a series of jazz combinations, from 6 to 10:30 p.m., and 15% of all dine-in sales at the restaurant will go to the music program. 

Proceeds from the night will toward instruments, a spring band trip to Los Angeles and jazz festival trips to Stockton, Folsom and Reno. About 110 students participate in the program throughout the year.
