District Staff Recommends Measure J Master Architect

The board will be asked to approve contract negotiations with SLM Architects.

The school board will be asked to authorize staff to negotiate a contract with DLM Architects to serve as Master Architect for Measure J bond projects at its meeting Thursday night.

The Master Architect will help develop educational specifications, develop conceptual plans for school sites and communicate with community members, according to a report by Ahmad Sheikholeslami, bond program director.

Also at the meeting, the board will approve a contract with Brighten a Life for a grant to build a new green educational building at Parkway Heights Middle School and vote on a resolution to issue Measure J bond anticipation notes and general obligation bonds.
