Tenerowicz Scholarship, $1,000

The Tenerowicz Scholarship is given to a graduating senior athlete by the Tenerowicz brothers in memory of their brother, Jim.  The Tenerowicz’s were a family of four boys who attended El Camino High School from 1966 to 1980, Jim being the valedictorian of the class of 1970.  All four brothers were captains of the Varsity Football Team and all four received the coveted Blanket Award.   All four continued their education at UC Davis while playing intercollegiate athletics.  In honor of Jim, this scholarship is given to a student that holds similar ideals of athletic and academic achievement.
