Conflict Resolution Event Draws a Crowd to Sunshine Gardens

Thursday evening at Sunshine Gardens Elementary School, families gathered for a live conflict resolution performance.

In the photos here, professional actors performed skits at Sunshine Gardens about how to resolve conflicts peacefully.

The was the finale of a three-day program sponsored by Kaiser Permanente in which students learned about non-violence and conflict resolution.

Last night was also Back to School Night at Sunshine Gardens. Families ate dinner and students who participated in the program received free t-shirts.

Kaiser Permanente Community and Government Relations Manager Matthew Jacobs attended the event and reported that there was a great turnout.
