Don't expect to be able to walk into traffic court to contest your ticket once the San Mateo County Superior Court unrolls cutbacks to its hours starting Oct. 31, the Half Moon Bay Review reports.
Court branches in Redwood City, San Mateo and South San Francisco will only have two traffic arraignment hearings per week under the new limited schedule (due to budget cuts), and there will be limited space for walk-ins without an appointment.
The bright side is that a new online reservation system will make it easier to make an appointment for a traffic hearing. The system isn't yet online but later in the month will be available at http://www.sanmateocourt.org/
