Question of the Week: Extend the Smoke Shop Moratorium?

On Wednesday, to discuss a resolution to extend the ban on new tobacco shops in the city of South San Francisco.

In June, that expires on July 23. The new resolution would extend that moratorium for another 10 months and 15 days.

Council members expressed concern that tobacco shops have a bad effect on neighborhoods, and neighbors already complain about an existing shop.
