Update: Power Outages in South City

Several power outages have been reported across San Mateo County, and more are expected to occur.

Update Monday 8 a.m.: Sunday evening PG&E was reporting 78 customers affected, but by Monday morning it reported that there were no power outages in South San Francisco. It also reported that Daly City's customers without power had fallen to 2, and that Pacifica and San Bruno's power had all been restored.

Update Sunday 8:45 a.m.: Sunday morning PG&E was reporting that there were 8 outages in South San Francisco with 88 customers affected. No restoration time had been estimated.

Colma had one outage, affecting one customer. Daly City had 10 outages, affecting 5,410 customers. Pacifica had 651 customers without power, and San Bruno had 235.

Update: Just before noon on Friday, South City's affected customers increased from 2 to 3.

Friday morning PG&E was reporting several power outages throughout the peninsula, including 3 in South San Francisco.

Two customers were without power in the downtown area, beginning at 6:55 a.m. The power company had no estimated time of restoration.

Daly City had 3 outages, affecting 3 customers, beginning at 9:42 a.m., with no estimated time of restoration as of 10 a.m., as well as an outage affecting 1 customer, beginning at 8:37 a.m. with no estimated time of restoration.

San Bruno had 12 outages affecting 327 customers, beginning at 9:43 a.m., with no estimated time of restoration.

PG&E told Patch that they are assesing the situation and that there may be additional outages later today as the stormy weather continues.
