New Mayor, Vice Mayor to Be Sworn in Tonight

Richard Garbarino and Pedro Gonzalez are expected to take office tonight as mayor and vice mayor, respectively, as the city council undergoes its annual rotation of leadership.

The South San Francisco city council rotates the positions of mayor and vice mayor every year in December.

At a special meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at 33 Arroyo Drive, Mayor Kevin Mullin will make his last remarks as mayor, and the city council will nominate and appoint a new mayor and vice mayor.

According to its set rotation, the council is expected to promote Vice Mayor Richard Garbarino to mayor and Councilmember Pedro Gonzalez to Vice Mayor.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
