Plastic Bag Ban, Transportation to be Discussed at Special City Council Meeting

The South San Francisco city council will discuss updates on efforts to move toward a countywide plastic ban at a special meeting Tuesday evening.

Currently, South San Francisco has encouraged at large stores. However, the city is part of a county working group to create a uniform, stronger ban that could be adopted countywide.

The city council will also hold a study session on a San Bruno/South San Francisco community-based transportation plan at the special meeting.
