Registered South San Francisco voters can apply to fill vacancies on the city's boards and commissions.

If you're interested in getting more involved in the cogs and wheels of local government, take note of an upcoming deadline.

The city clerk's office is accepting applications for three vacancies on city boards and commissions through July 14.

Applicants should used the application located to the right of this article to apply for the available seat open on the Cultural Arts Commission or the Personnel Board or the Housing Authority Tenant Commissioner Seat.

The city council will review applicants and choose new commissioners and board members. Requirements for each board and commission are described in the document attached to this article.

Applications should be returned to the city clerk's office at 400 Grand Avenue.
