City, School District To Hold Joint Subcommittee Meeting

Representatives from the city council and school board will meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss issues of common interest and potential partnerships.

The South San Francisco Unified School District will hold a joint subcommittee meeting with the city council Tuesday afternoon.

School Board Trustees Judy Bush and Liza Normandy will join Mayor Kevin Mullin and Councilmember Mark Addiego to discuss the footbridge on Hillside Avenue that connects to the Hillside school site, traffic flow on Orange Avenue and potential partnerships regarding allowing the public to use the South San Francisco High School pool during the summer and vehicle maintenance.

 to discuss the Measure J Bond program (which Councilmember Karyl Matsumoto attended), board members raised the possibility of potentially partnering with the city to develop its frontage property along El Camino Real as a way of raising revenue.
