City Council Special Meeting Agenda: Zoning Amendments

Despite recent rumors to the contrary, City Council will not discuss Fire Code at tonight's special meeting.

The South San Francisco City Council will hold a special meeting tonight. On the agenda is:

  • Study Session: Consideration of Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center Contract Amendment.
  • Consideration and direction to staff regarding potential zoning amendments related to grocery stores, retail sales and superstores; and approval of a motion allowing the City manager to enter into a contract not to exceed $50,000 for the purpose of hiring consultants to assist with the preparation of the environmental review and economic analysis related to the Zoning Code amendment.

South City Fire Codes are not yet scheduled for City Council discussion and will not be addressed at the August 29th Meeting. For more information please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (650) 877-8518.
