City to Answer Grand Jury Slam

When the South San Francisco City Council meets Wednesday, it will respond to a damning regarding aircraft noise monitoring.
City officials -- including those in South San Francisco -- have failed to act cooperatively to handle noise complaints, the grand jury concluded.
Also on the agenda: A bonus of $215,000 to implement an 18-bedroom supportive housing program and a homeless outreach team in the city. Shelter Network will apply to the county’s Continuum of Care department for the grant.
