Caltrain and SamTrans will adjust their schedules for the Thanksgiving weekend.
The transit systems will run Sunday schedules on Thanksgiving Day, with 32 trains between San Francisco and San Jose scheduled to run, including shuttle service to the Tamien station. Train service will not operate south of San Jose.
SamTrans' Sunday schedule includes the new ECR route, which operates between the Palo Alto Caltrain station and the Daily City BART station on weekends only.
The route operates every 20 minutes throughout most of the day, serving all of the BART stations, Muni and Caltrain connections along the line.
The San Bruno and South San Francisco BART stations are served from El Camino Real, to save travel time for the vast majority of passengers.
On Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Caltrain will run a Saturday schedule, with 36 trains operating between San Francisco and San Jose.
The schedule will include Weekend Bullet Express trains in the morning and early evening.
On the day after Thanksgiving, SamTrans will operate regular non-school day service.
Caltrain and SamTrans district offices in San Carlos will be closed on both Nov. 22 & 23.
