BART Strike Survival Guide: Extra Ferry Service, Carpooling, Transbay Bus Service

Transit officials are warning that a possible BART strike on Monday could tie up traffic throughout the Bay Area, including on the Bay Bridge and the Dumbarton Bridge.

Caltrain northbound and southbound trains are still running as scheduled

In addition, BART will operate charter bus service to San Francisco from the Walnut Creek, Dublin/Pleasanton, El Cerrito del Norte and Fremont BART stations, beginning at 5 a.m. This bus service will only be able to accomodate between 2,000 and 4,000 riders a day each way.
