WATCH: Federal Agents Suit Up For Gang Raid

Early Thursday morning, federal agents suited up in riot gear before heading out to arrest 19 suspects in South San Francisco's 2010 triple homicide.

Before dawn on Thursday, Homeland Security Investigations agents suited up in riot gear in a Bay Area mall parking lot, got into armored vehicles, and headed out.

By the end of the day, after taking gunfire from a suspect, but they would have achieved their mission: that left three young men dead.

In the video above, provided by DVIDS, a military media organization, Homeland Security Investigations agents can be seen donning protective gear and weapons alongside officers from the San Mateo County Sheriff's office and the South San Francisco Police Department.

After suiting up, the agents get in armored vehicles and drive away. A JCPenney is visible in the background. There are also some shots inside the command center of officials monitoring the operation live.
