South San Francisco police have reported that on Friday Oct. 19, an argument occurred between two groups of individuals on Ferndale Ave., and resulted in violence.
According to a police press release, the fight happened on the 300 block at about 3 p.m.
As an adult male and a juvenile began fighting, another adult male began an altercation with one of the juvenile's friends at the scene. That man put the juvenile in a headlock and stabbed him in the head with an unknown object.
That juvenile was knocked to the ground and the man who had headlocked him stabbed him on both sides of his face.
According to the report, everyone at the scene subsequently fled. The 2 victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated at a local trauma center.
As of Friday, police did not think the altercation was random. Police are currently conducting an investigation.
