Why are we given their names, addresses and photos? Is that so the public can harass the suspects and their families?

San Jose PD released this information. Yes, these men are still suspects, so you do raise an interesting point there; but you can take it up with SJPD. Perhaps SJPD released the information just the same way sex offender addresses are listed online. However, I'm sure anyone from the public who decides to harass a suspect and/or their family would have to also deal with law enforcement. It is a crime to harass and threaten.

I think it serves as a warning for other child porn users/distributors. In the same way Johns are shamed. Don't do it! It also provides parents with warning about possible child molesters living around the area.

I believe these monsters should have their face plastered all around their neighborhood and a 5 mile radius. the court system should forbid them from having internet asses and force them to have there fingers cut off.

The police do not have the time or funds to investigate harassment, threats or even private property vandalism, unless the victim is a VIP, they typically take a report and tell you to call your insurance company. Enucleation would be more appropriate than amputating fingers. Yes, let's bring back shame. I want names and photos and addresses for accused embezzlers, r accused DUIs
