Two Men Assault Teen, Steal Backpack

An 18-year-old man was assaulted on Hillside Boulevard Monday morning by two men, police say.

Police in South San Francisco are looking for two men who punched a teenager and stole his backpack in the city on Monday.

An 18-year-old man was walking in the 1200 block of Hillside Boulevard at about 11:45 a.m. when two men confronted him, police said.

One of the men held the victim on the ground while the other punched him in the face, police said.

The two men took the victim's backpack and cellphone, then fled in a 1989 Honda Civic. They were described as black men in their early 20s wearing black hooded sweatshirts.
