Trio Attempts to Rob PG&E Crewman
Three men demanded money from a utility crewman working on East Grand Avenue Monday morning, police said.
A PG&E employee working in South San Francisco was the victim of an attempted robbery Monday morning, police said.
The utility crewman was working on an easement near East Grand Avenue and Executive Drive when three suspects confronted him and demanded
money around 9:30 a.m., police said. No weapon was seen.
The victim punched one of the suspects in the face, which apparently surprised the suspects who then ran away. The trio headed north on
the railroad tracks and parallel with Executive Drive, police said.

The victim was not injured.
The three suspects were described as Hispanic men, between 20 and 40 years old, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 to 170
pounds. They were last seen wearing dark clothing and appeared to be transients, police said.

One suspect wore a green bungee cord as a belt on his pants. All three had shaved heads and no facial hair, according to police.
