The California Highway Patrol is Hiring
Applicants will have a three-day application window.
The California Highway Patrol announced this week that the law enforcement agency will be taking applications for three days in January.
“This is an opportunity to serve alongside some of California’s finest who provide the highest level of safety, service and security throughout the state,” said CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow.
“A career with a law enforcement agency like the CHP offers unlimited opportunities for someone who is looking for a challenge,” he added.

CHP has not accepted job applications in three years.
In 2013, the agency will do so for three days, starting on January 3. The application window closes on January 5.

Commissioner Farrow said the ideal candidate is a U.S. citizen without felony convictions with at least a high school diploma. They will consider applicants aged 20-35. All candidates will have to pass written and physical tests in addition to a background investigation.
