Tenant Gets Violent Over Rent Dispute

Tuesday, Feb. 15
8:04am Police received a report that a Toyota Landcruiser hit a parked Honda Civic and a mailbox on Valleyview Way.
8:31am A parent at Sunshine Gardens School reportedly refused to leave a classroom and was verbally abusing and harassing teachers and staff. Other children were present at the time.

10:10am Reports came in that two transient males were refusing to leave Burger King on El Camino Real.
2:07pm A guest at Travelodge Hotel on South Airport Boulevard refused to check out and pay the phone bill.

Wednesday, Feb. 16
7:59am Police received a report from Parkway Middle School that a student sold a classmate a muffin that contained marijuana. The student who ate the muffin was taken to the hospital and checked out fine.
12:15pm At the Sheraton on South Airport Boulevard, a vehicle was reportedly damaged after construction workers in the area told the driver to drive over barriers in place. The victim said that the workers were being uncooperative after the damage occurred.
4:04pm On Leix Way, a tenant reportedly broke down his landlord’s door and spat on him following a dispute over the rent. The tenant then scared the landlord off and refused to leave his house, threatening to harm him if he returned.
