Teenager Assaulted, Robbed by Classmates

Four people in a green van pulled up next to a girl walking to the bus stop, attacked her and stole her cell phone, according to police.

A teenage girl was walking on West Orange Avenue to the bus stop shortly after noon on Wednesday when a green van pulled up beside her and three young woman and one young man jumped out, according to police.

The four suspects punched and kicked the girl to the ground, then took the cell phone that fell out of her pocket, according to police. They took off in the van toward El Camino Real, police said.

Police said the victim positively identified two of the suspects as schoolmates; the other two haven't been identified.
