SSF Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

A gas station on El Camino Real in South San Francisco was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night.

 

A South San Francisco gas station on El Camino Real was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night, South San Francisco police said.

Police received a call at 7:48 p.m. of a robbery at a gas station in the 600 block of El Camino Real in which the cashier was held at gunpoint until he gave the suspect money, police said.

The suspect walked into the cashier's booth, pointed a small handgun at the cashier and demanded money. The cashier gave the suspect the money and said the suspect fled on foot eastbound on West Orange Avenue, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, standing 6 feet 2 inches, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a white hat, yellow sweatshirt, black jeans, and black gloves, police said.

The suspect has not been arrested.
