South San Francisco Man Arrested After Allegedly Firing Gun at Empty Vehicle
The incident resulted in the arrest of one suspect and the search for a possible second suspect. According to police, there were no injuries or fatalities resulting from the shooting.
San Bruno Police arrested 21-year-old Edward Holmes of South San Francisco early Monday morning after a short pursuit according to a release sent out by today by the department.
Police received a report of shots being fired in the 400 block of San Anselmo Avenue. Witnesses told police the shots were fired from a black Mercedes-Benz and were aimed at an unoccupied vehicle.
Officers responding to the scene saw the vehicle leaving the vicinity and initiated a pursuit. The vehicle stopped shortly after the pursuit began according to the release.

Investigating officers are trying to determine if a second suspect is still at large. The release did not indicate a motive for the alleged shooting. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting and possible motive to call the department at (650) 616-7100.
