South City Police Searching For Third Suspect in Human Trafficking Case

Sate Jones and Maria Jimenez, 25, remain in jail for trafficking four females, one 17, at a South City motel.

South San Francisco Police are still searching for a third suspect in an underage prostitution ring case that occurred at a local motel.

A 23-year-old man is the target of a search, according to Sgt. Bruce McPhillips, who could not provide further identifying details.

A San Francisco couple was arrested on Feb. 16 for trafficking four females -- one 17-years-old -- at La Quinta Inn on 20 Airport Boulevard.

The victims said they had been supplied with illegal drugs in order keep them working all night, police said. 

Sate Jones and Maria Jimenez, 25, who are believed to have a history of human trafficking, were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, pimping and pandering.

They remain in San Mateo County Jail on $350,000 bail, according to Sgt. McPhillips.
