South City Police K9 Unit Holds Annual Comedy Fundraiser

The unit recently announced the event will be Oct. 1. Last year was sold out -- are you going this year?

The South San Francisco Police K9 Unit has announced that it will hold its Annual K9 Comedy Night on Monday, October 1, 2012 at The Punchline Comedy Club in San Francisco, at 444 Battery St.

Comedians who performed last year to a sold-out crowd -- Johnny Steele, Joe Klocek, Carla Clayy and Jason Wheeler -- will perform again this year.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets are $25. Proceeds go toward training the police dogs and medical expenses of retired K9 units.

Contact K9 Officer Rebecca Dabney at 650-829-7212 to purchase tickets.  Last year's exciting event sold out, so please purchase your tickets in advance.

Every year I buy more school supplies and art supplies for the teachers and they know they canRead More always count on me for more whenever needed. I'm a strong believer in encouraging children to be creative and get rid of the barriers to the freedom of self expression.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
