South City Man Assaulted in Face While Walking

The man was attacked with a sharp object while walking on the 100 block of Baden Avenue Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday night a South San Francisco resident was assaulted in the face with a deadly weapon. 

The victim was walking on the 100 block of Baden Avenue at about 6:43 p.m. when a dark 4-door Honda stopped slightly ahead of him, and one of the occupants got out, according to South San Francisco Police.

The suspect then walked towards the victim and, without warning, attacked him with a sharp object. He sustained two cuts to his face, but was able to escape and call for help.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years old with a light complexion, approximately 5’6” tall with a skinny build, and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants, according to police.
