Six-Burg Suspect Appears in Court
The defendant has pleaded not guilty for several burglaries on Serra Drive earlier this year, and one more recent incident.
Jesus Alberto Gomez of South San Francisco, who was arrested during a probation check on San Felipe Ave. in August and linked to six burglaries, appeared in court in South City on Wednesday.
Gomez, 19, has pleaded not guilty to all charges and not waived his right to a speedy trial. He has been charged with burglary, grand theft, carrying a concealed firearm and petty theft.
The burglaries police have linked the defendant with occurred in the Buri Buri neighborhood of South City.

On Sept. 19 , a co-defendent, Henry Perez, was dismissed because of insufficient evidence.
Gomez did not waive his right to a speedy trial, and his case is set for jury trial on Dec. 10. He is in custody on $100,000 bail.
