Resident Finds Woman Trying to Break Window

Police are looking for a red-haired woman who a resident caught trying to break a window of his home.

Police are on the lookout for a red-haired woman who attempted to break into a South San Francisco home on Tuesday, police said.

The resident of the home in the 10 block of Capay Circle heard a loud noise coming from his backyard at around 11:30 a.m. and went to investigate.

He found a woman trying to break the window of his home, and confronted her.

She left in a 1997 Dodge truck with California license plate 8X46182, police said.

Police said that the woman is white, in her early 30s with red hair. Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to call South San Francisco police at (650) 877-8900.
