UPDATE: Little Girl Allegedly Abducted By Mom Found Safe

A 5-year-old girl who authorities said had been abducted by her mother in South San Francisco on Sunday was found safe in Southern California Wednesday night.

 A 5-year-old girl who authorities said had been abducted by her mother in South San Francisco on Sunday was found safe in Southern California Wednesday night, South San Francisco police said.

The mother, Zadoka Perez, shares joint custody with the girl's father and was visiting his home in the 500 block of Baden Avenue on Sunday when she left with his 2011 Honda Accord and their child, police said.

Perez was found with the girl, along with the Honda, at a motel in Southern California Wednesday night, according to police.

The 5-year-old has since been safely returned to her father, police said.

Police said the girl's father delayed reporting the abduction until Monday morning because he was trying to gain Perez's cooperation on his own.

Detectives had been concerned for the girl's safety.

Police are searching for Perez, who is believed to be in the Los Angeles area, according to the Mercury News.

South San Francisco police are searching for a woman suspected of abducting her 5-year-old daughter.

South San Francisco police have alerted law enforcement agencies throughout the state and said they believe the mother and daughter may be in the Los Angeles area.

The car Perez drove away in is a gray 2011 Honda Accord coupe with the license No. 6SCZ277.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
