Police Carry Special Olympics Torch Through South City

The torch passed through South City today as part of its journey through 21 California counties.

South San Francisco police officers carried the Special Olympics torch along El Camino Real in South City today for the Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games.

Lt. Jon Kallas and Officer Matt O'Connor picked torch from San Bruno officers at the border of San Bruno and South San Francisco. They carried it along El Camino to Colma, where they passed it off to other officers.
