Police Blotter: Man Found in Freezer, Fraud, Burglary

A roundup of recent crime in South San Francisco. The following information was supplied by the SSF Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

12:05 a.m., Travelodge Hotel on S Airport Bl., someone reported that a silver Toyota Tacoma was stolen.

2:44 a.m., Golden State Overnight on Eccles Av., someone reported hearing a burglary.

11:15 p.m., Callan Bl, a ’96 black Honda Civic was broken into.

12:19 p.m., Erris Ct, someone made threats on Facebook that he was going to the Academy of Arts with guns and was going shoot people.

12:57 p.m., South San Francisco High School on B St., police were requested on the scene because reportedly a 16-year-old male was choking his 15-year-old sister at home.

2:47 p.m., Northwood Dr, 1062 at Greenwood someone reported that her husband did not have any weapons, but had been making suicidal statements that he might jump of a bridge.

4:09 p.m., Baden Av, a two-car accident occurred but resulted in no injuries, between a silver Toyota Camry and a gold Honda Accord.

9:08 p.m., Larch Av, a “friendly” pitbull was reported without a collar but loose.

9:22 p.m., Dominiques on Oyster Point Bl., someone reported hearing a burglary from the kitchen motion detector.

10:04 p.m., Commercial Av, someone reported his daughter missing, last seen at 6 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 24

12:38 a.m., Eucalyptus Av/Second Ln, a toilet was dumped on Second Ln. about 50 feet west of Eucalyptus Ave.

1:47 a.m., El Camino Real Hy/W Orange Av, someone was riding a bike under the influence.

4:01 a.m., School House Deli on Baden Av., someone reported hearing a burglary.

4:06 a.m., Grand Av, someone reported that a vehicle had been parked for 8 years and needed to be towed.

9:11 p.m., Antoinette Ln, someone reported that her ex-husband had withdrawn $800 from her mother’s bank account and the bank is investigating. The suspect lives on the East Coast.

10:15 p.m., JFC International on Forbes Bl., a 45-year-old male was found in the freezer, unconscious and bleeding from the mouth.
