Police Blotter: Lexus Hits Mercedes, Victim Escapes Muggers

A roundup of recent crime in South San Francisco. The following information was supplied by the SSF Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 1

6:20 a.m., Airport Bl/Baden Av, someone reported a small brown car under the train overpass, that was running but had a missing a wheel and no one is inside.

9:33 a.m., someone reported hearing 7 or 8 shots fired at 2:40 a.m. and seeing her turtle tank damaged and also seeing a shell casing.

11:53 a.m., McDonald’s on S Airport Bl., someone reported that a man was walking inside with his pants hanging low and his entire “rear end” was exposed with no undergarments.

1:19 p.m., First National Bank on Airport Bl., someone reported that a man exposed himself to her as she walked by.

2:22 p.m., KFC Taco Bell on Airport Bl., someone reported that a red truck hit his vehicle while he was inside the building. Ssf.

3:45 p.m., Orange Av, a contractor reported that he returned to a house and found his tools were missing from inside the house and that the back door to the garage was open.

4:57 p.m., Bank Of America on El Camino Real Hy., a silver Mercedes door was hit by a red Lexus that did not have a license plate or VIN. The respondent said the Lexus driver was not providing her information.  

Sunday, Sept. 30

2:20 a.m., Valero on S Airport Bl., someone reported a hold-up at the register.

3:45 a.m., Bags Inc on Airport Bl., someone reported a vehicle was stolen that night.

1:40 p.m., La Quinta Motor Inn on Airport Bl., a Toyota Highlander was broken into via the back window.

Saturday Sept. 29

1:27 a.m., Toyon Av, someone keyed a car and ran away down the street. 

11:01 a.m., S Linden Av, someone reported that four men accosted them and demanded their wallet. The victim ran away and jumped a fence, injuring their finger. 

7:04 p.m., South San Francisco Dialysis Center on Kenwood Wy., someone reported that their white minivan was stolen. The vehicle said Semax Enterprise on the door.

11:23 p.m., Kaiser on El Camino Real Hy., an emergency room patient, 49 years old, was medically cleared but was refusing to leave.
