Police Blotter: Grand Theft, Sewage Leak, Skater Rage

A roundup of recent crime in South San Francisco. The following information was supplied by the SSF Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Nov. 15

5:44am, Avalon Drive, a South City resident said that his wallet was taken out of his vehicle while in Daly City, and the phone is showing up on GPS in Daly City. The theft occurred on Nov. 14 at 6:30pm.

9:09am, Marcie Cr, a highway patrol officer reported a 4 or 5-yea-old wandering in an intersection with no parents around.

9:44am, Circle Ct, a contractor reported a gas leak caused by a broken gas line.

10:14am, a multi-vehicle accident occurred at S Maple and Victory Aves. A silver Toyota Yaris and tractor trailer collided but no injury was immediately reported.

10:51am, CVS Pharmacy on El Camino Real, two suspects shoplifted walked out to a blue Lexus vehicle.

7:12pm, Spruce School on Spruce Av., someone reported a sewer plate off, causing raw sewage spillage that needed and immediate fix in the parking lot in front of the school.

8:29pm, Shannon Dr, between 4 and 7pm, items were taken from a Volvo vehicle, including headlights.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

6:00am, a 4-door ‘97 Acura was reported stolen from Dundee Drive. It was last seen around 9:30pm. All of the vehicle’s keys were accounted for.

7:38am, Marina Bl, someone reported that a boat motor was stolen off a the first boat on the left-hand side of the marina.

9:03am, a vehicle accident occurred at Callan Bl and King Dr. A female student was hit by a vehicle that took off. The victim complained of pain to the arm.

10:29am, E Grand and Dubuque Aves, a man in his 20’s or 30’s was reported to have thrown his skateboard at someone’s truck and skated away toward Linden.

1:35pm, All Souls School on Miller Av., someone reported a theft of an iPhone, along with video footage of the suspect.
