Police Blotter: Geek Squad Vandalized, Pot, Grand Theft

A rundown of recent crime in South San Francisco.

August 15

4:21 a.m.     Suspicious Circumstances: At Hazelwood Dr, police received a report from the county that someone reported unknown subjects planting explosives around his residence. 

5:25 a.m.     Robbery: On Airport Blvd, two males approx 19-20 year old light green army jacket with a gun and one in a black jacket take $40 while respondent was in his truck.

6:51 a.m.     Burglary: On Utah Av, two work vehicles broken into and tools were stolen.

7:12 a.m.     Vehicle Stolen: On Magnolia Av, the vehicle was last seen Aug. 14 at 10:00 p.m. The respondent reported that payments were current and no one else had keys.

9:11 a.m.     Acc Minor Injury: At Avalon Dr and Junipero Serra Blvd, a motorcycle driver was down. 

11:31 a.m.    Petty Theft: At Valero on S Airport Blvd a man with short hair and
a large scar all the way down his face took some jerky and left in a white Dodge Stratus, headed south on S Airport.

12:57 p.m.  Petty Theft: At Walgreens on El Camino Real a vendor who was selling sunglasses inside reported that someone stole her clear plastic tote containing her wallet, cell phone and car keys of her cart.

4:40 p.m.   Suspicious Circumstances: At Alida Apartment Building on Alida Wy, someone reported that someone had weapons inside a house, cooking dope, and holding a woman hostage. 

8:39 p.m.    Traffic Law Vehicle: At Marriot Courtyard on Veterans Blvd, a driver of Town taxi 1196 was reported driving extremeley recklessly.   

August 14

8:22 a.m.     Burglary: On McLellan Dr, a green Toyota Prius was broken into overnight.

1:11 p.m.     Fraud: At Kaiser on El Camino Real Hy, a doctor had two checks stolen from his office in the hospital. Checks were used and cashed on July 25, but doctor just found out htey were stolen.

1:53 p.m.     Dist Neighbors: On Pinehurst Wy, someone complained because downstairs neighbor keeps smoking marijuana in the apartment.

4:43 p.m.     Narcotics: At Orange Park on Tennis Dr, someone reported an odor of marijuana coming from the parking lot by the pool.

August 13

7:45 a.m.     Burglary:    On Geddes Ct, a "Geek Squad" black and white Volkswagen window was smashed. 

10:36 a.m.   Burglary:  At Public Storage on Meath Dr, three storage lockers were broken into over night. 

12:55 p.m.   Petty Theft: On Airport Blvd, someone broke into a gas pump and siphoned gas.

1:01 p.m.    Suspicious Circumstances: At Linden and Railroad Aves,  two men were stripping copper wire. 

2:12 p.m.    Grand Theft: At Fruit Guys on Victory Ave, and laptop,video camera and microphone were taken from offices. There was no signs of a break in, and it might have been inside job.

4:40 p.m.   Petty Theft: At Kaiser on El Camino Real Hy personal checks and a credit cards were reported taken.

4:45 p.m.    Burglary: On Serra Dr, someone reported their house ransacked, laptop stolen. 

9:13 p.m.    SPCA Case: At Pak N Sav on Gellert Blvd, a pit bull was reported running loose in the store.
