Police Blotter: BB Gun at Elementary School, Fireworks

A roundup of recent crime in South San Francisco. The following information was supplied by the SSF Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 22

6:23am, Oyster Point Bl/Gateway Bl, there was a car accident but no injury between a Mazda van and Mazda truck.

9:04am, Sunshine Gardens Elementary School on Miller Av., someone reported that a student brought a bb gun to school.

9:09am, El Camino High School on Mission Rd., someone reported that a student wrote gang grafitti on a desk.

4:28pm, B St, someone reported that a foster child was missing because they were not at Balboa High School, where they attend, for pick up today.

6:36pm, El Camino Real Hy/Ponderosa Rd, there was an accident with no injury with a vehicle and a pedestrian.

8:14pm, Costco Wholesale on El Camino Real Hy., a white Honda was broken into in the parking lot in the second row to the left on the ECR side. The passenger side window was smashed and a laptop was taken.

8:45pm, Olive Av/Armour Av, fireworks heard.

8:47pm, Mulberry Av, fireworks heard.

8:48pm, Adrian Av, fireworks heard.

8:49pm, Chevys on Hickey Bl., a window of w white Mazda 3 was smashed. Suspect left a laptop case in the car.

Sunday Oct. 21

12:26am, Grand Av/Linden Av, there was an accident with a vehicle and a pedestrian, resulting in a minor injury.

4:38pm, Orange Park on Tennis Dr., someone reported that a brown pit bull attacked another dog near the baseball field. The pit bull was alone and was now limping because the owner of the other dog kicked it.
