Police Blotter: Road Rage, Patient Stabs Nurse With Pen

A roundup of recent crime in South San Francisco.

Aug. 29, Wednesday

1:24 p.m.     Burglary                                               
On Morningside Ave., someone reported that $5,000 was missing out of her personal safe. There was no evidence of a break-in, but she knows it was there a couple of weeks ago.

On Mayfair Ave., someone reported that when her 8 year-old son didn't want to attend school at Los Cerritos, the uncle "dragged" him and is now suffering from scratches to both knees.

6:18 p.m.     Robbery                                                
At Safeway on El Camino Real Hy., someone reported that a male in his late teens came up to them and demanded money, then he put his  hand in his pocket aiming as if had gun. The person gave him three dollars.

10:10 a.m.    SPCA Case                                              
On Airport Blvd., someone reported that a dog is left in a vehicle all day, every day, while the owner works.

2:39 p.m.     Dist Others                                            
At Travelodge Hotel on S Airport Blvd., someone reported that room 757 – a guest was not leaving the room and was supposed to check out at

10:17 p.m.    Assault                                                
At Kaiser on El Camino Real Hy., a patient stabbed a nurse with a pen, and was put in restraints.

Aug. 27, Monday

6:52 a.m.     Malicious Mischief                                     
On San Felipe Ave., someone reported that a tire on their 2003 Toyota 4Runner had been slashed over night. 

12:49 p.m.    Threat Case                                            
On Seventh Ln, someone reported that their husband threatened to kill an ex and kids and that he was asking how to obtain a gun.

Aug. 26, Sunday

8:55 a.m.     Burglary                                               

On Baden Ave., someone reported that a black Chevrolet Silverado was broken into and that someone punched a hold under the key, stole the stereo, and damaged the dashboard.  

1:38 p.m.     Dist Others                                            
At Camaritas Ave. and Hickey Blvd., someone reported a road rage incident in that they honked at another driver and he then cut her off, jumped out of his vehicle, came to her window, reached in and tried to grab her. He also kicked her car.

8:59 p.m.    Suicide Attempt                                        
At Rotary Plaza on Alida Wy., someone overdosed on 40 Xanax pills and 50 beers.
