Police Arrest Teen for Allegedly Burglarizing Parked Cars in South San Francisco

An 18-year-old man was arrested in South San Francisco on Wednesday after he was allegedly spotted trying to open the doors of several parked cars, as well as trying to steal a vehicle.

 Shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday, Ramon Camacho, a San Mateo resident, was seen trying to open the doors to parked cars in the 200 block of Seventh Lane, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.

Camacho managed to enter one of the vehicles and took several items from inside, police said.

 Later, officers discovered Camacho had also tried to steal a vehicle parked to the rear of a residence.

 Camacho was found sitting in a parked vehicle that did not belong to him, police said.  He was placed under arrest on suspicion of vehicle burglary.
